I had a fantastic time at Barbarenas. The rooms, gardens, common areas and yoga stalls are beautiful and the service is incomparable. I enjoyed the high quality of the yoga classes and met wonderful people. I highly recommend to get as many massages as possible. The beautiful (but wavy! Swimming not recommended) beach is only a short walk and there are numerous amazing restaurants around. Also, Barbarenas chef Armando is a food wizard, breakfast and lunch was amazing!!! I would always come back and recommend a stay to my friends. Thanks for the amazing experience ❤️

I came to stay here for a 4 day retreat as part of my honeymoon in January. It was honestly the most amazing experience. The rooms and location are exceptionally beautiful. The vegan menu was incredible, I eat meat but some of my best meals from 3 weeks in Mexico where there. The mats and massage area are new and very good quality. The teachers are lovely and very skilled and everyone in the team is warm and very helpful. The price is incredibly good value. I cannot stress how much I would recommend this place.

What an incredible experience at Barbarenas Yoga Retreat Center in Puerto Escondido! From the moment I arrived, the service and hospitality were outstanding — the staff was making sure everything was taken care of. The location is stunning, right on the coast, and the perfect setting to unplug and recharge. The food was amazing too, fresh and thoughtfully prepared for every meal. The yoga classes were the highlight for me — high quality instruction, welcoming for all levels, and led with real care. I left feeling completely restored. Highly recommend this retreat center to anyone looking for a genuine, relaxing getaway near Puerto Escondido. I'll definitely be back!
