I chose Lakeside Rental Cars because of Jeff’s professionalism. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner, providing all the details I needed to feel comfortable renting from them. I previously had a bad experience with a different company, which made me hesitant to rent a car in Chapala again. However, Jeff was very flexible and made me feel comfortable, even when my plans changed. The car was in good conditions and had AC and I could connect my phone to play my music. I have already recommended him to family members who will be traveling to Chapala in the near future, and I will definitely rent from them again. I had a great experience! FYI:This is a cash-only business (I wish I could’ve used my credit card for points). You have to wash the car before returning it. They offer convenient pickup and drop-off services. They require a security deposit along with the rental payment at drop-off. The rental includes 24/7 roadside assistance and full-coverage insurance.

Can’t say enough good things about this company. Recently, we were lakeside for an extended period due to our son’s wedding. The owner is professional, reasonably priced and provides excellent communication. Our group size varied from 2 to 7 and he was accommodating with an assortment of vehicles throughout our stay. Each vehicle was delivered with a full tank of fuel and professionally cleaned. We will continue to use this service during our visit to the area..
